How do I get more Fuel?

The game is tick-based. You begin in the game with an allotted amount of fuel. As you jump around and move from location to location, you will burn fuel. Also, certain actions like scanning and mining will cost fuel.

Worry not: Your engine is a bio fuel unit and actually produces fuel over time. Every 15 (real world) minutes more fuel is created and placed in your fuel tanks. You’ll notice that your maximum fuel tank capacity is 3500. This is because in a 24-hour period your fuel tanks will generate just over 500 units of fuel.

You may stockpile this fuel and play on weekends if you desire, or play whenever you feel like it and have fuel left to burn. Fuel is the only in-game limitation to game play.

You can purchase bigger Engines from the Official CE store for real money which will increase your fuel income or you could simply upgrade to a P.A. account which will give you an extra 2 fuel per tick.
